Too much change!

I think it would be useful if there were a moneychanger, someone who can take all of these tiny copper coins (which seem to be filling up my rucksack disproportionately) that seem to build up, and for a small fee, change them into larger, more portable denominations.

On another note: Are the smallest coins taken first when buying things?

Edit: No.. It's not the coins. Were rucksacks were decreased in size? I can take things out of mine, but I'm unable to put them back in afterwards, there's not enough space.

I learned to just buy a 1 cp pitcher of water to fix it, or log in/out and that usually also fixed my encumbrance problem.

I don't think sizes changed. That may be a bug.

However, yes... to make your small coins bigger, just buy something. It'll convert it all into better change for you.
