Pit rooms and 'taking your belongings with you'

Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be, but every time I leave a room marked as PIT, something like this appears:

You blast eastward.
You take your belongings with you as you leave.
Some Cool New Room Being Developed [11328: Rocky Light Hills]
Exits: west
No Description Set.
A light, cool rain is falling here.
Puddles of water have gathered here.
Puddles of water have gathered here.
Puddles of water have gathered here.
And everytime I leave the Pit and enter the above room, another puddle of water is brought with me. Same thing happened with objects left in the room (even ones without the Take flag removed)
