Height and Lifespans of the Edain

Post  Bad Juju on Fri Sep 05, 2008 7:21 pm

Judging from what I have seen, Edain lifespans typically hover around 80-100 years; however, I could be wrong. I have not been able to find any information about their heights, aside from the fact that the Haleth are the shortest and the Hador are the tallest. Could anyone provide any insight into these matters?

As far as ages go, living beyond fifty is a uncommon feat for men. Some live to be very old, such as Old Beor (the founder of the House of Beor) who died at age 93, and these usually had some important connection to the elves. The maximum playable age is set to 50 for human PCs, and those will be old, weathered, beaten people.

As for heights, here are the ranges..

Beorian: 58" to 72"
Haladin: 54" to 68"
Marachian: 62" to 76".

As far as elves goes, the smallest elf is about the same height as the tallest Beorian.
